name: Suguru Geto
canon: Jujutsu Kaisen
age: 19
canon point: A few years post setting up his cult.
history: here.
abilities: Geto Suguru is one of four special grade jujutsu sorcerers and is also known as one of the most deadly curse users. He's almost on par with Gojo Satoru and, in their youth, they were both described as the "strongest". He was a promising young man who turned into a very deadly opponent. His powers are as follows:
personality: Geto Suguru is a contradiction.
From an early age Geto is a person who has a strong sense of self. As a teenager this meant he knew his role in society. Being a jujutsu sorcerer was protecting the weak no matter the personal cost. Even if consuming curses was repulsive to him, he knew there was a reason for it. The concept of meaning is vital to his personality. He does not do things on a whim. He ruminates, assessing the purpose for everything. This means he is rigid in his beliefs, and self-righteous from them. His way is the right way, because his way has intent. That remains a core part of him all throughout JJK. At the same time, Geto knows he can back that purpose up. He knows he is one of the strongest, and therefore there’s a part of him that feels other. He’s ambitious - both in striving to be at the top and believing he can rid the world of non-sorcerers. Which ends up in him often being arrogant to a fault, being cruel with his words, or holding himself high above anyone else.
At the same time he often takes on the weight of things that have nothing to do with him - he blames himself when Kuroi is kidnapped and when Haibara dies, and he takes on the role of guardian for two sorcerer girls he finds. His fellow curse users are considered a family. There is a caretaking nature to him. He checks in on people, reminds them to rest, or to have fun. His villainous behaviour does not remove his compassion, it just becomes only for a very specific group. Geto strives for a place where people like him no longer have to suffer. He takes loss considerably. He loses his cool when he thinks his best friend has died and forgets to be strategic. He is often self-reproachful. He refuses to show people his hurt, shrugging it off and swallowing it down and letting it fester.
So he is torn between disgust and duty. Throughout Hidden Inventory we see him at a crossroads. Knowing he’s meant to be protecting humanity and hating that he must. In the end it solidifies into something fanatical. Even though he had already been considering humanity’s eradication he still tries to pull himself back from it. But then he is pushed to his limit by the seeming cruelty of a people he must protect, and reacts violently. In the scene at the village there is something cold about him, unfeeling. He does not seem to react as he slaughters one hundred and twelve people. He does not flinch from it. The carnage does not touch him. He relishes the violence now he has chosen that path and refuses to accept any other alternative. He is determined once he makes that decision.
He can be childish, he is not immune to mischief. Even at later points in his canon, Geto is helplessly dramatic. He likes to taunt, he enjoys goading someone into breaking their cool. Oftentimes he manipulates others’ feelings to achieve a certain goal. He can still be playful with it.
There is nothing more that Geto wants than for the jujutsu sorcerers to survive. He wants a world with only sorcerers. So with his people at risk he would work tirelessly to ensure their survival. He doesn’t care what it costs, and is willing to make the hard calls to provide it. Even if it means setting aside his own misgivings, Geto can be diplomatic again. He can form alliances if he has to, wearing a pleasant mask and working hard to get what he wants.

He's almost on par with Gojo Satoru and, in their youth, they were both described as the "strongest". He was a promising young man who turned into a very deadly opponent. His powers are as follows:
CURSED ENERGY: In Jujutsu Kaisen, this refers to the energy used to power a jujutsu sorcerer's ability. It can be made to fuel cursed techniques, reinforce the body, or ignite talismans. It varies from person to person and is shrouded in mystery. In Geto’s case, he is known to have immense cursed energy due to his overabundance of commanded curses. His understanding of its usage is high, able to read the flow of other cursed users without difficulty and manipulate his own to hide his residuals when needed.
CURSED SPIRIT MANIPULATION: Cursed spirit manipulation is Geto Suguru's main technique. Geto is able to turn defeated curses into black orbs, in which he then swallows to store within his body. Once ingested, he is then able to control the curse and the curse’s ability. Usually, each curse has a different power, i.e. there are some made for surveillance, some for decoys, some for manoeuvrability, and some for brute strength. At the height of his power, Geto had roughly 4000 curses, though many were very low grade and used for overwhelming his target. It is vaguely like the usage of shikigami. The curses are stored within the body and then summoned through a portal to do his bidding. The ones that we see that are not defeated outright in show are as follows:A flying manta-ray shaped curse that can fly carrying Geto and one other person.
A tall curse with several bulbus heads that can capture an opponent and will try to kiss it.
A big almost bear shaped curse with horns and two eyes and eight legs that can carry a human on its back.
Surveillance curses that he cannot see through but is able to leave behind to check on their status.
Decoy curses, small and single eyed, mostly used as a distraction with no real power.
A giant single eyed curse with a necklace of human heads that he employs the brute strength of.
A large blue daruma doll that he uses to crush someone with.
A group of low level curses that band together to suck the flesh off of a human.
A white pelican shaped curse that is used to transport people within its beak.
The inventory curse stolen from Toji Fushiguro that can keep items within its body.
MAXIMUM: UZUMAKI: Uzumaki combines cursed spirits that the curse manipulator has absorbed into one. It takes the form of a swirling cursed spirit. It can be manipulated in an instant to hit the target and unleashes a powerful attack of super condensed cursed energy. This would be something he's been working on, but not quite commanded yet.
CURTAIN: A barrier technique that can hide an area from view. Geto can cast curses capable of trapping sorcerers within it and is also able to overlay his own over weaker curtains.
HAND-TO-HAND COMBAT: While Geto uses curses, he does not rely wholly on them. Even in his youth, he is seen to employ a high level of close quarter fighting. He uses the misconception that he would rely on his curses to distract and then move in on his opponent. In JJK 0, he is seen physically fighting both Yuta and the special grade curse while wielding a weapon against them..
