I'm sure it's much cleaner without me leaving manga and candy wrappers around. [ he teases, watching getou pour his drink and serve their food like ti's normal. like they haven't been apart for years. mess is just proof of a life well-lived. that's what he's always thought - it's good to be too busy living and enjoying those around you to worry about constant tidiness. he hated it growing up - the static, pristine nature of everything, all the time, existing in a doll house. he remembers the manic joy of decorating his dorm with posters and magazine clippings, photos of getou and shoko, fortunes from shrines and plushes won at arcades. he doesn't spend enough time in his quarters at the school or here to leave any real mark on them now. ]

Mm sounds like proof that you're doing well by them. I would have had my knuckles smacked if I left a coat or a game on the floor growing up.

[he relaxes back against the couch and drinks some of his milk tea, extra sweet as usual. ] Well, I can't exactly police them like a parent, but mostly they don't need it. Megumi's quite tidy. His sister too, from looking after themselves as children I assume. The first years are a little wilder, I'm not sure how seriously they take me. [ gojou snorts, taking his bowl when getou offers it with a soft thanks. ]

So, how was being a teen dad? You always did like having something to take care of, huh.
