[ but he doesn't move, just lets his hands smooth down getou's neck, dip into dark hair and tug him back in for another kiss. ]
[ it's too easy to get lost in the slide of his lips against getou's, satin of his hair, let a hand slip down and grip getou's hip until the screench of a child nearby jolts gojou out of it, snapping back with pink cheeks and wide eyes. gojou clears his throat, stumbles out of the booth to grab the pictures, all nervous, frenetic energy until he looks at them and everything softens at the edges. ]
We're cute. [ he grins a little sheepishly and turns them to show getou as he emerges. ]
( He emerges from the booth like a man witnessing light for the first time, blinking helplessly at Gojo for a second before his gaze falls on the photos. The way his heart skips a beat feels foolish, for all that he is now and all that he's done, but it's not something he can help, not really. )

[ getou’s hand falls after patting them against his chest, and he brushes their knuckles together, feather-light, hooking his little finger around getou’s just for a moment. those blue eyes never leave him, curious and calculating a million different possibilities every second. ]
It’s fine. No one but you was gonna see it anyway. [ it’s a face only Getou could pull out of him, but if he wants it to be just for them, it’s fine. Gojou doesn’t need the world to know about this. this night is already more than he thought he’d ever get to feel again. ]

( He's meant to be better than this. He's meant to be stronger than his pesky feelings, more able to keep them at bay. Maybe letting Gojo back into his life was a mistake, hadn't he thought that scorching the earth behind him would be better? He was supposed to stick to it. Because there's something tight and terrible in his chest when Gojo looks at him, something twisting uncomfortably at just the slightest brush of their hands. All the background noise around them fades - and he's usually so aware, so honed in on all the filth around him - to the point where it's just them.

[ Getou pauses and stares at him for a moment, and Gojou feels like he can't move. Wonders if some other shoe is about to drop, and then Getou's eyes flicker off and the tension bleeds away into arcade noise. ]

[ Gojou grabs his hand and tugs him up to the next floor. It's quieter here, and they have more space to wander the aisles and look at all the figures and plush in the machines. ]

( He finds a claw machine meeting his exactly standards, turns to lean against the glass one one shoulder, arms crossed against his chest. There's a sea of fat, dark coloured plushies inside, and Geto smiles. )

( He lifts a hand, taps a painted nail against the glass. )
