( The days after Nanami's slip-up are the busiest he's ever been. He doesn't doubt Geto's ability to draw attention away, but he isn't arrogant enough to underestimate Gojo's ability to come to the appropriate conclusion.

Despite being comfortably situated in Geto's home, Nanami is technically a man on the run now. So the days after are spent moving or discarding assets, getting affairs regarding his family in order, saying a quiet goodbye to his forever composed and understanding mother. That is the part that stings; her he will miss the most, knowing he is hurting her in ways no good son ever would.

He's on his way back when he receives a message that one of the girls has gone missing. The whole train ride is spent on going back and forth with said missing girl, being understanding but also firm in his stance that staying away is absolutely not an option. Eventually a truce is reached, a bargain struck. Nanami fires a quick text to Geto: )

( The message comes timely. He'd been about to eviscerate someone. Thankfully Nanami is a person he trusts l, someone who knows the weight of his care, he doesn't demand to know where, only this -. )
